Harmony Interfaith Initiative is an educational community organization that was founded by Interfaith Minister Gudjon Bergmann and is supported by his wife, Johanna Bergmann, who is in the leadership team of a small startup in the tech industry. The project is affiliated with Charter for Compassion and has one goal, to spread the messages of harmony and bridge building to people of all faiths. It is registered in Hays County, Texas, and is operated out of the couple's home in Kyle.
WHAT WE ARE NOT
Harmony Interfaith Initiative is not a member organization. We support local organizations, such as Interfaith Action of Central Texas (iACT), the Annette Strauss Institute for Civic Life, Compassionate Austin, and Dialogue Institute Austin, and national programs, such as Charter for Compassion and United Religions Initiative. Our efforts are mainly educational and experiential. They are meant to supplement the great work that is already being done in the name of interfaith and civic engagement.
