With Participants from All Across the World, Our Partnership with the Charter for Compassion Continues
In 2018 we partnered with Charter for Compassion to offer a workshop that was called Working Together Towards Harmony. It attracted nearly three hundred participants from over twenty-five countries. I used the feedback I got from that group to improve the course, rename it, and write a book based on that material.
Now, starting on March 18, we are offering the online course again, this time under its new name: Co-Human Harmony. We already have registered participants from the USA, Scotland, France, Malaysia, Australia, England, Canada and the Netherlands.
What I Am Looking Forward To...
Although participants can get the same material by reading the book (of course, I have added interactive material and thought-provoking videos for good measure), I can safely say that the greatest value that the course provides is the chat between participants. Last time, people shared their experiences and frustrations, made real connections with each other, challenged me time and time again (which made the course better), and continually refined their actions plans for the future.
As the facilitator, that is what I am looking forward to this time around. Being able to interact with people from all around the globe, all wanting to improve society in their own way, is both inspiring and mind-expanding.
Why the Charter for Compassion?
We have chosen the Charter for Compassion as our partner because of their commitment to the universality of the Golden Rule.
Locally, we work with Compassionate Austin, but every time we get a chance, we highlight the great work that Karen Armstrong and her team are doing across the globe.
You Are Invited to Join Us
I’d like to invite you to participate in our 4-week in-depth and interactive course. It only costs $25 and includes bridge-building ideas and strategies from Nobel Peace Prize laureates, ethicists, interfaith leaders, civil rights icons, ancient prophets, sociologists, and psychologists.
The course is self-paced, meaning that you can go through it when you have time, and new material will be posted on a weekly basis, starting on March 18.
