The following workshops and experiences were created with one goal in mind: To increase individual and communal capacities for harmony. Please contact us for more information or to book one of our programs. The suggested minimum donations are per event, not per person. We only ask for help with travel expenses when we exceed a two-hour driving radius from Kyle, TX.
WORKING TOGETHER TOWARDS HARMONY HALF-DAY WORKSHOP
This 4-6 hour workshop interactively explores the five elements that are presented in our main program; (1) the spectrum of harmony, (2) the human and ideological personas, (3) how we can build experiential bridges, (4) the ten interreligious dialogue principles, and (5) the attraction-repulsion axiom. The workshop comes with a workbook and includes both interactive sessions and simple role-playing. Each participant will leave with a list of actions to increase harmonious relations. HONOR DIVERSITY AND CELEBRATE SIMILARITIES
Society is becoming increasingly culturally and theologically diverse. That is a fact that cannot be denied. All we can do is choose how we react to our new reality. We have created an experiential program to intentionally honor our differences and simultaneously celebrate how we are the same. The 1-2 hour experience is meant to leave participants feeling empowered and connected. Contact us for pricing and availability.
HARMONY MEDITATION FOR COMPASSION AND PEACE OF MIND
Harmony begins within. That is why we have created an all-inclusive approach to meditation. It is based on twenty years of experience and includes foundation practices, such as relaxation, individualized postures, and concentration. The approach offers two directions, either towards detachment and peace of mind or towards expansion and compassion, both of which are in line with all the major wisdom traditions. The full-day workshop comes with a workbook. Contact us for pricing and availability.
THE EXPERIENCE OF FAITH: A MULTIFAITH GATHERING
What if people of all faiths could come together and share their spiritual experiences in a structured way? That was the question that led to the creation of this event. In 60-90 minutes, participants are led through the experiential elements that the major faiths have in common, especially contemplative aspects, such as meditation and centering prayer, and compassion oriented aspects, including love and service. The goal is to be together to share faith and spirituality from a personal position rather than a theological or dogmatic standpoint. Each attendee will be able to participate as he or she pleases. Contact us for pricing and availability.
We have created a 2 hour dialogue process is based on the Experifaith model. We put aside theological and history differences—of which there are many—and focus instead on common experiential elements of faith. The process starts with an introduction to the Experifaith model, and then each participant will get a chance to fill in an experiential portrait, which will serve as the basis for an hour-long dialogue. The goal is for participants to connect at the experiential level and try to understand each other from a personal viewpoint. This type of dialogue has shown itself to be equally valuable within faith communities (intrafaith), between sects (ecumenical), and between faith communities (interfaith).
